Pencil Points began in 1920 and acted as a tool for draftsmen. It gave examples of details and products up until 1927 when a list of publications was given. Within this list hidden on the last page of the magazine, is an aluminum paint specification manual.

Pencil Points including these publications gave companies a chance to present themselves to the audience. Pencil Points is now more than just a place to appreciate projects, it is now a place companies can use to reach an audience.
